9.20.2

Welcome to my sketchbook.

Content : Random Illustrations, Fanart, Sketches, Doodles, Oekaki

As of now, I'm revising my artistic philosophy. I love to draw anime, and I've got some good skills and a comfortable style going for me. But it seems I'm not a long-term manga person. I put pressure on myself, then procrastinate, and then it stops being fun and becomes like punishment. So from now on, I'll do what strikes my fancy and there'll be more updates as a result. Also, I will probably cut back on the commentary and simply put up more pictures, more often. That's what I feel comfortable with right now. So enjoy, and definitely don't hesitate to sign the guestbook or comment on my blog.

^__^

Note:
Left over from my past are four recurring characters who really aren't that interesting to hear about. I just liked to draw them a lot. So that's who they are.

: Scribbles :

Weird stuff. Sketchy stuff. Click at your own risk.

: Oekaki :

In semi-chronological order. Some oekakis I've done are not here.
That is because I hate them.

"Hey, this program is nifty. What can I do with it? Ooooh the colors." "Mwahaha. I RULE this program now. And I have mad lighting skillz." I felt weird. So a weird self-portrait came about. It's magic. But it looks more like wind. His bellybutton has been called "cute", an assessment I find disturbs me. Heh. Tablet power, gone wrong. I like the colors and not much else. This one is dear to my heart, because the prevailing color is green and he has cool pants. Elftor-loving hyperactive Lacross player Confusion amongst the layers resulted. ^_____^ Scarfs rule. Using only 3 colors rules too. People enjoy this one, but you should have seen my rage against those railings. "Foolish mortal. Pegasus can only be caught when he *wants* to be caught." I was being pressed by my various deadlines. Laugh, it's funny. As dark as I could make it, with bad perspective. Bwah!
Weirdness in blue. Some scribbles and leaves. Ignore this one, it's just a stress drawing. My computer refused to download Fruits Basket. I got frusterated and did a self-portrait oekaki. Weirdness. Experimentation. Angst0boy in Providence. ^^ Alien opera singer.. my attempt at "realism".

: Photos :

Mostly artistic, some just for fun. I love photos.

THE mysteriously panoramic Honda Accord in NY Actual salt crystals.  Taken with digital camera + lense. Actual sugar crystals.  Taken with digital camera + lense. Butterfly museum in Houston My bent fork bracelet.  These are the prongs. My livingroom.  It looks like a magazine advertisement, doesn't it?  That's my mom's fault, and also everywhere else in the house is a mess.  No one goes in the livingroom unless we've got a fire going. Some metal balls.  With camera reflection, too. Dog playing poker ^^ That's a dog statue, and  some mini playing cards.  Size of the scene in real life = 1 inch or so. A pegasus statue.  I enjoy using blacklights in my photos, and this is the actual colors of the original photo.  It's a digital one too. Necklace on black background. Necklace on white background. A pill.  This is some serious social commentary, now, isn't it? A kid's timer with blue liquid inside.  This took me so long to take because the timer kept running out ^^;;
